3mm zirconia balls within the Head.
Some Wand induction heaters may have an opening too narrow to be compatible with the Tempest 2. Ensure your Wand has an opening of at least 14.0 mm. If necessary, use glass sanding paper to carefully widen it. If there is no wiggle room, do not attempt to use it, as the glass may break during heating.

Top tier. I find myself using this over all my other TEDs. It gives super consistent and tasty results right out of the box. Pairs great with my YLL 3.0 IH.
Having such a blast with this TED (thermal extraction device) I can use it with my wand and I can use it with my camouflet IH very satisfied with my purchase. I own a anvil and forge also this is good for convection style sessions
This is my first introduction to Mad Heaters and the tempest. I have had a wand gathering dust, and after seeing all the reddit crowd talk so highly of the wand tempest combo, it found its partner. Following the the manuals recommended setting for stock balls, I had perfect performance on the very first use. I also discovered this pretty much yields a one heat extraction practically every time. A trying a reheat, like every other similar device, my bud was completely black. The flavor is great, the effects are great, I’m sold. This may but a big stop or at least delay to me buying future devices. I ordered on Tuesday and received Friday, perfect. Thank you as always VGoodiez!! Side note, it seems some spare parts were not shipped with the initial orders. VGoodiez volunteered that information and confirmed they are actively working to fix this. You can’t ask for better service!!
