FAQ's

How does the Rogue Wax Works Terpcicle compare to other torch-powered dry herb vaporizers?
The Terpcicle vaporizer unlike other torch-powered vaporizers has a body constructed entirely of borosilicate glass and quartz. This provides extremely pure flavor and allows users to visually monitor the heating process to avoid combustion. While many torch-powered dry herb vaporizers feature conduction heating, the Terpcicle, instead relies on convection for massive single hit extractions. The high-capacity bowl is also much larger than most ovens on other torch-powered vapes. The Terpcicle also requires a much larger butane troch because of the thermal mass of the glass, so be sure to pick one up with your new Terpcicle.
Can the Terpcicle vaporizer be used with an induction heater?
The Terpcicle dry herb vaporizer is designed for use with a torch and induction heating may not achieve the same results, but it can be used with induction heating if done correctly. To use it with an induction setup you’ll need the Coil Cap by TRWW which acts as an e-nail heater that fits around the quartz heater and requires a PID controller to use. The Terpcicle cannot be directly inserted into an induction heater, however.
How do I use the Terpcicle vaporizer?
The Terpcicle is easy to use. Load your dry herb into the bottom glass chamber and gently pack the herbs down, but leave the pack loose enough for air to flow properly. Make sure the metal screen is in place in the bottom chamber to keep herbs in place. Place the quartz heater cap onto the herb chamber and insert the entire unit into a 14mm water pipe. Heat the top of the quartz heater cap using a large butane torch and rotate the Terpcicle to ensure that heating is even. The heating should take about 10-15 seconds but it’s important to watch the herb and the flame to avoid overheating. Take a long steady draw. Pulling too hard or too fast will cool down the heater too quickly.
How do I clean the Terpcicle vaporizer?
Cleaning your Terpcicle vape is easy. Remove the mouthpiece and heater assembly from the main body and soak the glass pieces in isopropyl alcohol for up to 30 minutes. After soaking, if residue remains, you can use a pipe cleaner or soft brush to scrub the inside of the glass tubes and heating chamber. Rinse all parts thoroughly with water and allow to air dry completely before reassembling.
