Had the I/O Hornet just over a month now and it’s taken top spot overall in my ball vape game. Hands down the most enjoyable experience I’ve had with any other device. It’s super efficient with your flower..the option to use with DynaVap stems is a cherry on top. I’ve found several different bowls that work with the hornet in addition to the two included with the kit. One tiny nitpick would be the glass bowl with the kit, it kinda tricky to get the screen in place..it works well once you get it there. Just a really great option if you’re looking for a ball vape…

This is an amazingly powerful little device with broad and unexpected compatibility and versatility.

High points:
- perhaps due to the beveled design of the heater and the alternative size of the interface depending on how it is flipped, I find this compatible with almost any bowl/device that I own including crossing tech hybrid bowl, cannabis hardware matrix bowl, glass injector bowls, even random blown glass -if the bowl is circular enough to make a decent seal with the heater

- small easily portable, which becomes more relevant after I discovered the next point

- My ispure Wand can heat this up. This is what I have been hoping for in a device for a while. I was excited when cannabis. hardware made 20 mm heaters because they fit perfectly into the wand. But it doesn't work. The metal is too close to the device itself and it shuts off due to overheating before the heater is at a proper temperature. The small size of the hornet allows a gap between the heating metal and the wand. I can heat it up to good vaporizing temperature in one heating cycle with the wand.

Cons?
- requires an uncommon size coil, so if you're adding it to a preexisting set up you will need to buy a new coil or a converter. Not a big deal.

-I prefer when heaters have either Alan wrench screws, or better yet, are threaded directly like a screw lid top so it is easy to switch out the interior balls. I could also solve this by buying snap ring pliers for a few bucks, but not needing a tool would be cool.

I did replace some of the 3mm rubies with 4mm SiC beads. I really didn't use the device too much before I did this so i'm not sure how much it changed its dynamics. I may try to source some 3mm SiC beads to try a mix of 3-4 SiC.

I may try to make a leather case that will hold the heater in place against the wand. It would be cool if ispure and hornet got together for an adapter like Dynavp did.

This little thing is more powerful than I thought. Very amazing. Using the glass stem offers awesome flavor I couldn’t ask for it to be better. The most impressive feature for me is that it is the best table top heater for DynaVap vapes. It has helped me reengage my love for DynaVap. No more games with caps and clicks. Just stick it in and inhale. I am running at about 540°F and getting awesome results with my DynaVap. Whether, you are a DynaVap user or not, I highly recommend this product.
