Simply the best

There has been a ton of hype surrounding the Frolic, and for good reason. As far as portables go, this is THE MOST powerful and efficient extractor on the market (as of January 2026).

PROS:
+ Heavy hitter! Can fully extract a bowl in 1-3 hits if that's your thing. And if it's not, there is also an...

+ Optional session mode! Take your time and enjoy a smooth experience in every sense of the word.

+ Hybrid heating! You may pack the bowl however you want, and draw at any speed or length you like.

+ Battery life! A full battery is good for 10+ bowls, and easily swappable so you can keep extras on hand.

+ Adjustable airflow to match your preference/technique.

+ Durable! Built like a tank and likely to survive all but the most catastrophic of impacts.

+ Excellent customer service and aftermarket support! See the next two points...

+ Compatible with S&B dosing capsules by fan request.

+ With the upcoming direct-to-oven cooling unit add-on, will also be compatible with TM2 stems.

NEUTRAL:
~Pocketable, but not overly small nor stealthy.

~Average to decent flavor; nothing to write home about. Upcoming direct-to-oven cooling unit will likely be a vast improvement.

~The tan TPA plastic has a somewhat rough feel that can be off-putting if you're sensitive to textures.

Cons:
- Harsh on the throat! With the stock stem, those big, deep, room-sized-cloud hits are among the HOTTEST I've encountered (and that's saying a lot). But that's the price you pay for such a compact powerhouse! I've heard the fold-out mouthpiece is much better, and of course a good water pipe adapter would make it a non-issue, but unfortunately I have neither.

- Messy unloading. The spent herb has a tendency to spill all over the place upon removing the cooling unit. Do so carefully.

USER TIPS
While it uses a hybrid conduction/convection heating system that will get the job done no matter how you use it, in order to get the BIGGEST AND HARDEST hits I recommend following the usual rules for convection: don't overload the bowl or pack it too tight - airflow is key. Set the airflow wide open, and take a deep, steady, sustained draw in order give the hot air enough time to bake in. The longer the better.

It rips!!

I was torn between this and the Venty. I own a mighty+ and love it but I wished it had better airflow.

Frolic had the similar form factor I like so I got it instead. The on demand mode is a game changer for me!! Flavor is good and you can rip as hard as you want and it just keeps going!!!

The Frolic and the Tempest 2 are my daily driver now. Still use the mighty+ for long sipping sessions.

Definitely top of the line

Great device and extremely portable way to get a extraction no matter your preference. Been using it as a daily to help with an injury for pain management, but also easily turns into an extremely powerful on-the-go necessity for a hang out session or one hit extractions. Definitely rugged and barely shows any noticeable signs of impact onto concrete. It definitely feels like it should come with a fold-out mouthpiece with it as it's the biggest recommendation for the best of vapor production and flavor without it feeling too hot/harsh, and doubly so if you use dosing capsules in it. Excited to see how much I can learn about it and see how it lasts with some decent usage but it's been fantastic so far.
