This video will guide you through setting up your Universal Baller by Terp Chasers Club.
Setup instructions:
- Plug the 25mm barrel coil into the round plug on the back of the PID controller.
- Plug the power cord into the remaining plug. Ensure both connections are fully seated.
- Wrap the barrel coil cord around the cable management lugs on the docking station.
- Insert the barrel coil heater into the top slot of the docking station.
- Secure with the two included screws using the allen key.
- Confirm the coil heater is not touching any part of the docking station.
Setting temperature:
Before your first session, perform a one-time burn-off to remove manufacturing residues. Place the Universal Baller wireless heater into the 25mm coil, power on the PID controller, and set the temperature to 700°F for 15–20 minutes. Reduce the temperature afterward.
To adjust temperature, use only the up and down buttons. Recommended range: wireless 254–321°C (490–610°F) and wired 204-298°C (400-570°F).
How to use:
- Load medium-grind material into the titanium hybrid matrix bowl using the herb scoop.
- Lightly tamp using the base of the scoop for even heat distribution.
- Overpacking or tamping too tightly will restrict airflow and cause uneven extraction.
- Once the UB wireless heater is placed in the coil, allow a heat soak of about 10 minutes. Titanium heaters heat soak faster than stainless steel.
After heat soaking:
- Place the Universal Baller heater on the bowl and begin a gentle inhale.
- Full extraction is typically achieved in 1–3 draws depending on load size.
- Adjust temperature as needed after your session. Lower temps = more flavor, higher temps = more vapor.
Note:
Bowl joints may be tight initially. Grip the glass joint and bowl firmly and pull straight apart without twisting. Applying a small amount of o-ring lubricant can help. If needed, briefly heat the bowl (about 15 seconds) using the wireless heater, then separate using a towel or oven glove.
