**This stem is NOT ideal for the TA.  The blackwood being at the end will heat up with the power of the TA.  It could become sappy as Blackwood does.  You need a heat sink in between the wood to avoid this.  Other woods might be more tolerant but woods like Blackwood, Cocobolo and Padauk can become sappy so it's a no go with the high powered TA.
