About The CARTA SPORT by Focus V

The CARTA SPORT e-rig is the newest portable vaporizer in the Focus V line, bringing a variety of changes to the original CARTA and CARTA 2 designs to the table. Now featuring a more simplistic single-button interface, users can easily cycle their presets, start heating, and check battery levels all with a simple press of a button.

The CARTA SPORT also includes the new CARTA connect: a removable silicone airpath which makes cleaning a breeze, allows for further customization options, and allows users to swap out the airpath without interrupting a session. The CARTA SPORT’s new battery makes sessions last thanks to a 35% increase in capacity which allows for up to 50 uses per charge, and USB-C fast charging cuts down on the wait so you can go back to enjoying your new e-rig sooner.

The CARTA SPORT is compatible with all of the INTELLI-CORE Atomizers: smart heaters with 360-degree heating for super precise and data-driven temperature control. For even more control over the performance, connect the CARTA SPORT to the browser app via Bluetooth to select preset temperatures, session timers, and track your device usage.

The New Carta Connect

The CARTA Connect is an innovative silicone air path that detaches from the base for easy cleaning and quick swapping to keep sessions going and vapor smooth and clean. With a variety of colors to choose from, this airpath allows for further customization and provides users with one of the easiest maintenance experiences on the market. Chilling the CARTA connect for a couple of minutes can harden reclaim, allowing it to be popped out or scrubbed off easily.

INTELLI-CORE Atomizer Compatibility

The CARTA SPORT is compatible with all of FOCUS V’s INTELLI-CORE atomizers. These smart atomizers use dual heat sensors for precision temperatures and 360 degree heating for complete and even vaporization. The CARTA SPORT comes with the standard but this can be exchanged for the INTELLI-CORE MAX atomizer for a heftier performance due to 30% larger atomizer walls which provide more volume, more flavor, and bigger clouds. Users may also choose to pick up the INTELLI-CORE atomizer for herb which allows the CARTA SPORT to be transformed into a dual use portable vaporizer.

How to Use the CARTA SPORT

  • Fully charge the Focus V CARTA SPORT before use and perform a burn-off cycle to remove any potential residue remaining from manufacturing.
  • Press the V button 5 times to turn the CARTA SPORT on.
  • Press once to pick a temperature preset. (We recommend 450-485 degrees Fahrenheit for the best results, but you can adjust your temperature as needed using the standard presets or your own customized presets through the app.)
  • Load 0.1-0.3g of material into the center of the chamber, avoiding the sides.
  • Press the V button twice to begin heating.
  • Take long, slow, steady draws for the best vapor production.
  • Press twice again to add an extra 10 seconds to the session.
  • Press the V button once to cancel the session early.
  • Press three times to change the LED lighting and four times to check the current battery level.
  • Press 5 times again to turn the CARTA SPORT off again.
  • Session presets are as follows: Blue is 480 degrees fahrenheit at 60 seconds, yellow is 495 degrees at 55 seconds, green is 515 degrees at 50 seconds, purple is 535 degrees at 45 seconds, and red is 565 degrees at 40 seconds. Presets can be adjusted in the browser app.

How to Clean the CARTA SPORT

Removing and installing the CONNECT airpath: Remove the glass top and atomizer and then carefully pull the front of the CONNECT airpath out first, then pull firmly from the center to remove completely. Once clean, reinstall by removing the atomizer and glass top. Then align the airpath with the base and gently snap the rear section into position first. Push the front down to ensure it fits properly. Do not tear the silicone. Once it’s in place, reinstall the atomizer and the glass top.

Cleaning the glass top: Always allow the CARTA SPORT to cool completely before cleaning. Once it’s cool, remove the glass top from the base. Empty any leftover water, rinse with warm water and then fill it with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Cover the openings and shake to dissolve residue. Empty the alcohol and rinse thoroughly with warm water and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.

Cleaning the base and CONNECT airpath: Carefully remove all components from the base. Dampen a lint-free wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol and gently clean visible residue from the base. Dry immediately and use a cotton swab to clean the atomizer contacts and hard-to-reach areas. You can use isopropyl alcohol to clean the airpath as well, focusing on the reclaim channels. A cotton swab or small brush can help remove any buildup. Rinse with warm water and allow it to dry completely before reassembling.

Cleaning the atomizer: Gently swab the inside of the chamber and threads with a cotton swab dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Submerge ONLY the atomizer in 70% isopropyl and allow it to soak for 5 minutes, shaking gently for a more thorough cleaning. Remove from the alcohol and allow it to air-dry completely. Run a brief low-temperature burn-off before using again to remove any remaining residue.

Yes, the CARTA SPORT is compatible with all of FOCUS V’s INTELLI-CORE atomizers and CARTA glass attachments and compatible across all of the CARTA vaporizers including the SPORT. You can swap, replace, or upgrade the glass between the CARTA 2 and CARTA SPORT without concern for fitment or seals.
