The Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL and New Peak are designed for different user priorities. The New Peak smart rig is dedicated to ease of use, simplicity, portability, and consistency and the Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL is designed for those who want a heavier hitting smart rig that allows them to fine tune every aspect of the smart rig experience. The Peak Pro 3DXL features a longer mouthpiece bubbler to help cool vapor and an extra-large 3D chamber for greater vapor production. The New Peak is limited to 4 preset temperatures, which work well and are consistent and easy for many to use, but the Peak Pro 3DXL offers complete temperature control via the app, allowing users to choose specific temperatures rather than just the preset options.
How do I use the Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL?
The Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL is easy to use. To turn the e-rig on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. Place a rice sized amount of concentrate on the bottom of the 3DXL chamber using a loading tool. The 3DXL chamber can accommodate for larger amounts but you don’t want to overload it. Place the cap on the chamber. Select a heat setting by pressing the power button to cycle through the four presets or choose your temperature from the app. Start heating by pressing the power button twice and the e-rig will vibrate and flash when it’s ready to use. Inhale slowly and steadily through the mouthpiece and rotate the cap while inhaling to control airflow. Press the power button twice again to activate boost mode which will raise the temperature and extend the session.
How do I clean the Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL?
Cleaning the Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL is easy. After every use, a cotton swab can be used to wipe out any residue from the bottom surface and sides of the ceramic bowl. This can be done while the unit is still warm to make it easier, but use caution and do not try to clean the e-rig while it’s still hot. For a deeper cleaning, ensured the Peak Pro is powered off and cool. Remove the glass attachment and 3DXL chamber from the base and remove the cap from the chamber. Empty any remaining water from the glass. The 3DXL chamber, joystick cap, and glass attachment can all be soaked in isopropyl alcohol for about 20 minutes. Do not use water to rinse the chamber, as this can damage it. Do, however, rinse the cap and glass attachments with water and allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling. To clean the base, use a cotton swab dampened with alcohol to clean the gold connection threads and wipe the airpath and exterior of the base. Don’t allow for any liquid to seep inside the base itself.
