New Peak by Puffco

The Puffco New Peak electric dab rig is a direct upgrade of the Peak original and features a variety of changes that improve the user experience. The original Peak featured a standard ceramic heating chamber, but the new Peak takes a step up with the integrated 3D heating chamber which provides better flavor and more efficient vaporization. The new Peak also benefits from better airflow control, featuring a joystick style carb cap as opposed to the original’s oculus. The Puffco New Peak is designed for simplicity and consistency while the Puffco Peak Pro is designed for users who prefer to fine-tune every aspect of their experience. The Puffco New Peak features a simple single button interface with four optimized heat settings while the Puffco Peak Pro gives users full control over temperature, time sessions, LED colors and custom profiles via the Puffco App. The Puffco New Peak’s 3D chamber is smaller than that of the Puffco Peak Pro but the New Peak is also smaller and more portable than the Peak Pro. Charging and battery life between the two are comparable and when it comes to price, the Puffco New Peak is a bit more wallet friendly.

Using the New Peak smart rig is incredibly easy. Remove the glass bubbler from the base and fill it with water just above the two air holes. Avoid getting any water in the lower section and do not fill it while it is attached to the base, to prevent damage. Attach the glass again by aligning the inlet hole on the front of the glass with the chamber on the base. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off. Choose a temperature setting by pressing the button to cycle through the four presets. Load your concentrate using the included loading tool to place a rice-sized amount of concentrate onto the bottom of the bowl. Place the joystick carb cap on top of the chamber and press it down so that it’s secure. Press the button twice quickly to begin heating. The light will pulse while heating and the unit will vibrate and flash three times when it’s ready to use. Inhale slowly and steadily through the mouthpiece and gently move the joystick cap to adjust the airflow.

Cleaning the Puffco New Peak is easy. After each session, use a cotton swab to gently wipe out any residue to prevent build up and making deep cleaning and maintenance easier. For deep cleaning, ensure the New Peak is powered off and cool and then remove the chamber and glass. The chamber and glass can both be soaked in isopropyl alcohol for up to 20 minutes. Rinse the glass with warm water but do not rinse the chamber with water. Allow both to air dry completely before reassembling. To clean the base, gently wipe the gold threads using cotton swabs dampened with isopropyl alcohol and clean the airpath between the chamber and the glass. Do not allow water to seep into the gold threads of the base.
