these work just fine. You do need needle nose pliers to pull/adjust apart they are stiff! It’ll take more than “gently adjust “ Once you get the correct size it’s great! Plastic works fine too it’s a matter of your application. I have both. *Sidebar, I really this company ( customer service, responding to emails and willing to help you out to make sure you get the correct product), and I keep coming back 😎

Great product. Locks in your connections and you can gently adjust pressure by bending. I now prefer these more than the plastic ones for sure. Looks better too.

so much better than the plastic ones. it has flex, so i can apply pressure w/o worry. also, since it is metal i don't have to worry as much if it brushed the torch.
