What is the difference between the Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 vaporizer and the original Ghost?
The Ghost 2 vaporizer is a complete redesign of the original Ghost with a host of new features that make upgrading worth it. The body of the Ghost 2 vaporizer is much thicker and sturdier and built more like a pocket rig than the original. Rather than using standard coil-based heating, the Ghost 2 features innovative sidewall heating in a ceramic bucket which means a much more consistent heating, faster heat up times, and fuller vapor production. The Ghost 2 vaporizer also features five temperature presets and three dynamic heat modes, and pass-through charging.
Is the Ghost 2 vaporizer easy to use?
The Ghost 2 vaporizer is easy to use. Hold the button for two seconds to turn the vaporizer on or off. Press the button once to show the current temperature setting and press again within 3 seconds to change the temperature setting. Press the button three times to change the heating mode. Flip the hinged top open to access the heating chamber and, using a loading tool, place a small amount of concentrate directly onto the bottom heating surface. Snap the lid shut after loading and press the button twice to start heating. The vaporizer will pulse read to indicate that it’s heating up and will glow green and vibrate when it’s ready to use. You may cancel the heating cycle at any time by pressing the button once.
How do I clean the Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 vaporizer?
Cleaning the Ghost 2 vaporizer is easy. Pull the mouthpiece and silicone top off of the vaporizer and remove the airflow regulator. Fill a small glass with isopropyl alcohol and drop your mouthpiece, silicone top, and airflow regulator into the glass, ensuring they’re completely submerged. Soak these parts for no longer than 20 minutes. Heat the chamber for about 3-5 seconds to make cleaning easier, and use a dry cotton swab to wipe up any residue inside the chamber. Then use a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to remove any stubborn residue on the bottom and walls of the chamber. Dry heat the chamber for another 3-5 seconds to evaporate any remaining isopropyl alcohol. Let all of the parts of the vaporizer dry for at least 20 minutes to ensure they’re completely dried and reassemble the airflow regulator, top, and mouthpiece and reattach. Do not soak the chamber in isopropyl or any other liquid and don’t use isopropyl to clean the shell of the vaporizer because it may cause fading. A warm damp cloth can be used to wipe the shell instead.
What do the indicator lights on the Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 mean?
If your Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 vaporizer indicator light blinks yellow three times, this indicates a faulty or missing e-chamber connection. Make sure that it is fully threaded down. If the indicator light blinks red three times when attempting to heat up, this means that the unit is too hot and needs to cool before heating up again. If the light blinks pink three times this means there’s a short circuit fault, printed circuit board fault, or charging fault. Do not attempt to use or charge the device after seeing this indicator, and reach out for support.
What temperature settings and heating modes does the Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 vaporizer have?
The Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 vaporizer has five preset temperature settings and 3 dynamic heating modes. The temperature settings include purple for 420 degrees Fahrenheit, blue for 450 degrees, cyan for 480 degrees, yellow for 510 degrees, and white for 540 degrees. The heating modes include Descent mode, Steady mode, and Ascent mode. Descent mode has a downward light pattern and the temperature slowly decreases after reaching the set level. This is the default mode and mimics the experience of a cooling quartz banger, prioritizing flavor. Steady mode has a pulsing light pattern and the unit holds the set temperature throughout the heating cycle. This provides a consistent experience similar to an e-nail or vape pen. Ascent mode has an upward light pattern and the temperature slowly increases as you draw which mimics the sensation of heating a banger with a torch as you inhale for progressively warmer hits and more voluminous clouds.
