for cheap makes it where i really dont even think about about the hot coil, no real way to get a quick burn unless you drop it. vgoodiez shipping it installed is awesome, would have regretted not getting it

Took maybe 5 minutes to put on my koilboi flare. The guard gets hot but not enough to burn skin on contact. Very happy with the purchase

Very effective and probably the most reasonably-priced heat guard that I've seen. Of course, the guard itself is still fairly hot, but any risk of burns is significantly decreased.

Bear in mind that this will not work with all injector bowls, but it also shouldn't be too difficult to modify if need be.
