XQ2 by Arizer

The Arizer XQ2 desktop vaporizer is an upgrade of the original Extreme Q vaporizer which includes several changes to enhance user experience. The XQ2 vaporizer features an isolated airpath, a replaceable air filter, a brighter and clearer LED screen, a dedicated fan button for easier control, a more intuitive remote control with three programmable buttons for custom temperature settings, an improved balloon connector for easier assembly and a silicone cap to seal the bag. The XQ2 vaporizer also includes two Connoisseur bowls rather than the cyclone bowl, which can be flipped for different pack sizes as needed. The XQ2’s fan is also stronger and fills bags in 2/3rds of the time.

Ensure that the XQ2 vaporizer is cool and unplugged before disassembling. When you’re ready, remove the glass pieces by wiggling connections back and forth. Avoid twisting the glass as this may break these parts. Once they’ve been removed, the glass parts and metal screens can be soaked in a glass filled with Isopropyl alcohol for up to 30 minutes. Remove the parts and scrub gently with a small soft brush or a cotton swab and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling. To clean the silicone whip, do not soak in alcohol, but instead soak in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly with hot water before allowing it to air dry completely. To clean the heating chamber, turn the XQ2 vaporizer upside down and gently sweep out debris with a cotton swab or small brush. Wipe off the exterior using a slightly damp cloth and perform a burn-off before using the XQ2 again, to eliminate any remaining alcohol residue. Ballons are disposable, so simply replace them as needed.

The Arizer XQ2 desktop vaporizer is easy to use. Load one of the glass connoisseur bowls with medium ground herb and power on the vaporizer with the power button or remote. The unit’s base will pulse yellow and then orange while heating. Set your temperature using the up and down arrows. When the XQ2 is finished heating, it will blink green twice and will be ready to use with either the whip or balloons. Take long steady draws using the whip, or fill balloons using the inbuilt fan to inflate them with vapor. When you’re finished, turn the XQ2 off and allow it to cool before cleaning.

Whether you should purchase an XQ2 or V-tower vaporizer depends on your preference. If you value versatility and enhanced features and like to use balloons with your desktop vaporizer, the XQ2 is better fit. The V-Tower would appeal more to those who primarily use a whip and prefer simplicity and a lower price point.
