Yes, the Switch 2 vaporizer is a dual-use desktop that is compatible with concentrates and dry herbs, though its performance is optimized for concentrate use. For use with concentrates, use the quartz insert and for dry herb and more plant-like materials, the titanium insert is best.
How do I clean the Dr. Dabber Switch 2?
To ensure that your Switch 2 vaporizer lasts for a long as possible, it’s important to clean it regularly. Use a dry cotton swab on the inserts after every dab, and when you’re finished with your session, use a cotton swab sipped in isopropyl alcohol to wipe out the insert while it’s still warm. Do not remove the insert while it is hot. The built-in cleaning assist cycle will heat the insert for 30 seconds to allow for easier cleaning an insert removal, if needed. For deeper cleanings, the unit can be disassembled and parts can be cleaned separately.
Is the Dr. Dabber Switch 2 vaporizer easy to use?
Yes, the Dr. Dabber Switch 2 is an approachable vaporizer for new and experienced users. Remove the glass attachment from the unit and fill with water before re-installing. The glass attachment vapor pathway should be lined up towards the unit indicated by the line on the back of the attachment. Power on the Switch 2 using the power button on the back of the unit and the LED lights will indicate the current battery life. Remove the magnetic carb cap and load the insert with your material. Select your heat setting using the plus and minus buttons. Place the carb cap on the heating chamber and press the D button. The LEDS will be red to indicate heating and will change to green when the desired temperature has been reached. If you need to cancel the heating session, simply press the D button again.
