About The Arizer XQ2

The Arizer XQ2 is the new and improved version of Arizer’s beloved Extreme Q vaporizer, a multi-purpose dry herb desktop vaporizer with options for use with detachable balloons or a whip for a more direct draw. The XQ2 brings a variety of new features to the table, aiming to enhance user experience with an easier to use color menu, programmable remote, upgraded accessories, and an improved build.

The XQ2 and Customization

The XQ2 desktop vaporizer provides users with a fully customizable experience. Choose between single digit precision temperature control or program your remote control’s options for preset temperatures. Users can adjust the temperature alert, delay start, auto-shut-off timer, screen brightness, and audio settings, as well as customize the LED base and heater LEDs for dynamic lighting, spectrum lighting, no lighting, or 8 static color options. The larger colorized screen and buttons allows for direct access to these settings and simple adjustments and the programmable remote control makes direct control even easier.

The XQ2’s New Design

The XQ2’s design hasn’t just improved aesthetically but functionally as well. This design features a fully isolated airpath, a ceramic heating element, and replaceable air intake filters for cleaner and tastier vapor. Internal sensors monitor the airflow and help to maintain a consistent temperature for maximum efficiency and the powerful 3-speed fan has been designed to help produce more potent vapor but with better noise reduction for a quiet, enjoyable session. For high volume use or for social sharing, take advantage of the new connector system which allows you to easily change out and customize the bag/balloon size for your needs. Or if you prefer, enjoy the 3’ whip attachment for an on-demand, direct draw with an assist from the 3-speed fan.

The XQ2’s New Accessories

The Arizer XQ2’s improved design and functionality also extends to its accessories to fully optimize the experience. The new accessories are all made from easy-to-clean materials such as borosilicate glass for incredibly easy maintenance. The new whip attachment also features glass ends for that same easy cleaning, a high-quality silicone tube for smooth and flavorful vapor delivery, and convenient 360 degree swivel action for easy sharing and a wide range of motion. The connoisseur bowl too, has undergone some changes now featuring two herb chambers: a cloud chamber with a larger capacity bowl that sits closer to the heating element for larger, thicker clouds and the flavor chamber for lighter and more flavorful vapor.

What is the difference between the Arizer XQ2 vaporizer and the Extreme Q?
The Arizer XQ2 desktop vaporizer is an upgrade of the original Extreme Q vaporizer which includes several changes to enhance user experience. The XQ2 vaporizer features an isolated airpath, a replaceable air filter, a brighter and clearer LED screen, a dedicated fan button for easier control, a more intuitive remote control with three programmable buttons for custom temperature settings, an improved balloon connector for easier assembly and a silicone cap to seal the bag. The XQ2 vaporizer also includes two Connoisseur bowls rather than the cyclone bowl, which can be flipped for different pack sizes as needed. The XQ2’s fan is also stronger and fills bags in 2/3rds of the time.
How do I clean the XQ2 desktop vaporizer?
Ensure that the XQ2 vaporizer is cool and unplugged before disassembling. When you’re ready, remove the glass pieces by wiggling connections back and forth. Avoid twisting the glass as this may break these parts. Once they’ve been removed, the glass parts and metal screens can be soaked in a glass filled with Isopropyl alcohol for up to 30 minutes. Remove the parts and scrub gently with a small soft brush or a cotton swab and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling. To clean the silicone whip, do not soak in alcohol, but instead soak in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly with hot water before allowing it to air dry completely. To clean the heating chamber, turn the XQ2 vaporizer upside down and gently sweep out debris with a cotton swab or small brush. Wipe off the exterior using a slightly damp cloth and perform a burn-off before using the XQ2 again, to eliminate any remaining alcohol residue. Ballons are disposable, so simply replace them as needed.
Is the Arizer XQ2 easy to use?
The Arizer XQ2 desktop vaporizer is easy to use. Load one of the glass connoisseur bowls with medium ground herb and power on the vaporizer with the power button or remote. The unit’s base will pulse yellow and then orange while heating. Set your temperature using the up and down arrows. When the XQ2 is finished heating, it will blink green twice and will be ready to use with either the whip or balloons. Take long steady draws using the whip, or fill balloons using the inbuilt fan to inflate them with vapor. When you’re finished, turn the XQ2 off and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Should I get an XQ2 desktop vaporizer or the Arizer V-Tower?
Whether you should purchase an XQ2 or V-tower vaporizer depends on your preference. If you value versatility and enhanced features and like to use balloons with your desktop vaporizer, the XQ2 is better fit. The V-Tower would appeal more to those who primarily use a whip and prefer simplicity and a lower price point.
