I was just going to keep using the ring stand clamp I've been using, then I got this. It's just easier. Nothing to pinch or clamp. I especially like that the foot slips right under that nice recycled rubber mat with the cool art.

Just know that it's lightweight and keep it in a safe place so you don't have any accidents. It's perfect for my use.

Works exactly as intended. Keeps coil up and secure, no heat transfer makes it to the bottom but there is some on the vertical part. Would recommend over a coffee mug any day!
