The dosing caps seem to keep the Dyna Vap nice and clean for one thing. Secondly it allows perfect micro dosing as I personally prefer. Now not only were those the only major positives I found, I also noticed that the quality of the dosing caps were more than expected. After two weeks of using the dosing caps, multiple times daily, the lids still claps on very snugly to the basket, and also i've had no bunching or crushing of the basket when I place the lid back on. Now to top that off yet, removing the lids after use hasn't deformed the baskets at all. As for cleaning of the dosing caps, I felt it was very simple. I just emptied on out the ABV material, and then, I placed the dosing cap, with the lid off the basket, all together in a sealed zip bag with some alcohol, and gently shook the bag. Personally I feel the alcohol cleaning would only be needed once or twice a month, though I like the idea of any small build up of any possible resin for a extra punch for use. One dosing cap I decided not to clean at all after the two weeks, and besides a light color tinge on the dosing capsule basket, I can't find a difference in use or air flow between a clean dosing cap and a dirty dosing cap. One other plus I've found with the dosing caps is that you can fill them all with material, load one full dosing cap in your vap, and your all ready to go! No filling your vap in inclement weather or in any public setting, and if you choose you can fill every cap and cary them all with you filled and ready to all go safely stored in the storage vile they come with, making it super easy to dose up to 5 times while home, or out on the go.
Now for the down side to the dosing caps, which are very few in my opinion, are that you will either need good or highly moderate levels of dexterity for self use. Some with moderate to low levels of dexterity may need assistance for proper use and cleaning of the dosing caps. Besides this I can't find any downsides to the dosing caps for any individual looking for either micro dosing, a cleaner vap, easy storage and use for on the go vaping sessions, or just to have everything dosed out and ready to go at a moments notice. I'm overly pleased with the dosing caps, and i'm looking forward to trying out a set of dosing caps for a battery powered dry herb vape i've had my eyes on. Once I get both I'll be sure to test them out and leave my review.
