The Wand by Ispire: Comprehensive Guide
A portable induction heater offering incredible versatility. Power your thermal extraction devices or utilize the included bangers for a torchless concentrate experience.
Benefits & Features
- Travel Ready: Compact package made of water-resistant plastic.
- Fast Heating: 35s for Tempest 2; under 40s for concentrates.
- Passthrough Mode: Charge via USB-C while simultaneously heating your device.
- Versatile Range: Selectable temperatures from 250°F to 800°F.
- Complete Kit: Includes straight/angled 14mm bangers, inner cups, and carb cap.
How Induction Works
The Wand uses magnetic induction to detect metal objects in the heating chamber. This is why the inner cups require the curved metal strip—without it, the glass would not conduct heat. Watch for these light indicators:
Red Blinking: Metal detected. The Wand is actively pulsing/heating.
Solid Amber: Battery is low. Charge is required immediately.
Steady Green: Fully charged and in standby mode.
Operating Instructions
- Battery Setup: Remove the back plate by pushing upward on the jimping. Insert two fresh 18650 batteries (follow polarity). Pair batteries in matched sets (Set A, Set B) for best longevity.
- Power On: Press the fire button directly under the heater five times quickly.
- Temperature: Use the plus/minus buttons to adjust in 5-degree increments. Hold both to toggle Fahrenheit/Celsius.
-
Choose Your Mode:
• Automatic: Press the fire button twice. It heats to your preset for 30 seconds.
• Manual: Hold the button down for the duration of the heat cycle.

Using a silicone or glass insert allows you to set the depth for your device. Deep settings provide full thermal extraction, while higher settings provide a terpy, light roast flavor.
Care & Maintenance
If concentrate overflows, use a cotton swab with 90% ISO to clean the residue. Inner cups can be cleaned with a dry swab or soaked in ISO to loosen stubborn buildup.
